A diversity of communication tools and content is available to inform and promote safe boating.
This website is being developed and will be maintained by Waterrecreatie Nederland, and will contain and share all communication means on safety.
www.varendoejesamen.nl (NL) Improves safety on Dutch waterways by increasing awareness among the waterway users through education
www.ebanet.org European Boatmen’s Association (EBA) exchanges technical-nautical information in order to improve and enhance the sector’s professional standards
rnli.org Royal National Lifeboat Institution is the charity that saves lives at sea as well as on some inland waterways. RNLI helps to educate children of all ages to learn about water safety
Communicating potential dangerous crossings and instructions how to cross them contributes to nautical safety. The earlier mentioned inventories of safety junctions and instructions to boaters and professional skippers how to cross them will be shared with project partners (and via their distribution channels to their target groups).
