Including communication possibilities in case of calamities or specific situations

Make the best use of available (open) data, for example from AIS

Eijsden-Margraten
Where possible, cross-border interconnections applications with multilingual communication (DU, FR, EN, GER)

Eindhoven
Possibility of automatically collecting harbour dues

 

Joint solutions

a mobile App or/or in combination with a mobile website
no separate means of communication
use native technology
specific solutions needed for cross-border links (such as an off-line functionality)
no ‘stand-alone’ App (integration of functions such as tourist, economic etc.)

 

Schedule

October 2014
Commission to preparation of a functional design (including the design and realization of a data warehouse, making the data interchangeable, the actual availability of the data in the App for the benefit of the users plus develop a business model and implement additional functional requirements)

November 2014-March 2015
Delivery, implementation and testing.

Eventually
- Everyone in and around Eijsden-Margraten safe and happy on the river Maas, passing the lock of Ternaaien and the Albert Canal
- Everyone in and around Eindhoven safe and happy on the Beatrix Canal
